AWANA Clubs are designed to train
children and help them become all God would have them to
be. Awana stands for "Approved
Workmen Are Not Ashamed." - ll Timothy 2:15.
AWANA Clubs are designed to train children and help them
become all God
would have them to be. We have the following clubs:
- Cubbies -
ages 3 and 4
- Sparks -
Kindergarten thru 2nd grade
- T&T
(Truth and Training) - 3rd thru 5th grade
a program of inventives is used to encourage the children
to accompish the goals for each age level. Our evening is
divided into three segments:
-
HANDBOOK TIME: This is the
time when clubbers are taught Bible truths and recite
memory work. A child moves through the material for his/her
group at an individual pace.
- GAME TIME:
This is time for children to participate in stuructured
activites and games designed to build the physical body,
and equally important, teach them to conduct themselves
according to rules of fair play, good sportsmanship, gracious
losing, and gracious winning. It's also fun!
- COUNCIL TIME:
During this time clubbers gather together for a time of
singing, testimony, and worship.
